Performance

Stability:
Very good stability, especially when seated. The width and catamaran hull help a lot. Standing is feasible though, with caution, especially when gear is loaded or in chop.

Tracking & Glide:
Given its length and shape, the 128X tracks well in calm to moderate water. It’s not built for speed, nor is it very efficient in strong currents or against the wind, but for fishing, lakes, bays, it does well.

Maneuverability:
Being a bit heavy (96 lbs), maneuvering it on land is more difficult; wheels or trailers help. On water, turning is okay but not razor sharp. More inertia due to weight when loaded.

Power / Accessory Use:
The Yak-Power system is a big plus. Being able to plug in electronics directly, run lights, run small motors or anchors (Power-Pole type) makes this kayak more functional for serious fishing.
